Please contribute to support our meeting.
We have no dues or fees for A.A. membership but we do have expenses. In keeping with the Seventh Tradition we ask that you give what you can. If you can’t give any money, keep coming back, we need you more than your money. A reminder however, that New Group has expenses and contributions that it makes to support services that help alcoholics in need.
To donate in cash, a suggested donation of $3 per person can be placed into the basket when it is passed around at the break.

A.A.’s Seventh Tradition states: “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” This means that only A.A. members contribute financially to A.A. – and even A.A. members are limited in the amount they can contribute. This keeps A.A. free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose — to help the alcoholic who still suffers. The amount of the contribution is secondary to the spiritual connection that unites all groups around the world.
